Le Bourget has a large museum on its grounds: the National Air and Space Museum. Among other things, it houses a collection of 150 different aircraft.

Background and history
Le Bourget is an exclusive Private Jet Airport near Paris. That makes it a popular shooting location for Hollywood films. Because it is a private terminal, it is relatively easy to get permission to shoot there, compared to international airports. For example, Le Bourget was featured in The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons.
Unfortunately, it was also involved in the tragic accident with the Concorde from Air France (flight 4590). Shortly after taking off from Charles de Gaulle (on 25 July 2000), the aircraft experienced mechanical problems. Although the pilot attempted to divert to Le Bourget, the plane crashed before he could reach the airport.
