Frankfurt is home to two airports
Besides Frankfurt am Main, the city has another airport as well: Frankfurt Hahn. This may lead to some confusion, which can have major consequences.
For example, a chauffeur (from a different service) once took an international artist to the airport for a flight to London. The artist had to perform in London after doing a show in Frankfurt. The chauffeur mistakenly brought them to Frankfurt Hahn, while their flight would depart from Frankfurt am Main.
The airports are located circa ninety minutes away from each other. There was no way the artist would make it in time to catch their flight.
