Private jet to and from London (United Kingdom)
Would you like to book a private jet to or from London? Given the large number of airports located near the city, the available options can be overwhelming. Where is the best place to charter a flight from? Just leave it to us! We will arrange the best flight based on your specific wishes.
-
Wide variety of private jets with a recent manufacturing year
We charter jets: based on your specific situation and location, we offer a selection of the finest and most affordable private jets. We only use modern aircraft with a relatively recent manufacturing year (no older than ten years). -
Carefully inspected maintenance history
Safety always comes first. Whenever we charter a private jet, we issue strict requirements for the aircraft's maintenance. That means we inspect all paperwork in advance and only go ahead with the charter if everything checks out. -
Experienced pilots with many flight hours
Not all pilots who fly supersonic jets have experience with such aircraft. That creates a potential safety risk. We therefore only hire experienced pilots with many flight hours in private jets. -
Chauffeur and Helicopter Service available
In addition to your flight, you can also book our Chauffeur Service in London or another destination of your choice. Furthermore, we can arrange helicopters to and from the airport. In other words: we can make sure guests arrive at their destination on time and without any stress. -
Extra service in LondonTake advantage of our extra services and extensive knowledge of London. For example, we can provide a bodyguard or security driver. We also know where the city's finest restaurants and hotels are.

Enormous selection of airports for private flights
It should be noted that not all these airports are popular destinations for private flights, because they can be very expensive.
Instead, we recommend Luton, London Farnborough (FAB) or London Biggin Hill (BQH). Together, these airports process circa 88% of the total number of private flights per year. That means 70,000 flights; a gigantic number when compared to Schiphol, which – despite being the largest private airport in the Netherlands – still only processes 4,500 flights per year.
Below, we will tell you more about Luton, Farnborough and Biggin Hill.
London Luton (LTN)
Luton is the busiest private airport in the London area. It processes circa 30,000 private jets per year.
Accessibility
This airport is located thirty-six miles from London. Depending on traffic, you can reach the airport from the city in about an hour and half. It is essential that your chauffeur knows the city and its many roads well. Our Chauffeur Service guarantees you get the fastest and most comfortable drive from London.
The traffic conditions can sometimes be so busy and hectic that it would be better to take a helicopter to Luton instead. The flight from the city takes just ten minutes. Depending on when you need the flight, we can advise you about the best option. If need be, we can arrange a helicopter for you.
Available FBO’s
There are four FBOs to choose from. Take a look at an overview>
Due to its excellent services and facilities, Signature Flight Support was chosen as the “Best European FBO” multiple times by Professional Pilot Magazine. The airport is open 24/7 and can accommodate private jets of all sizes.
When you have us charter a flight for you, we will advise you about the FBO that best suits your specific wishes. Next, we will take care of all communication with the FBO of your choice.
Cons
Luton is incredibly busy. On top of that, the number of scheduled flights that arrive at and depart from this airport is growing. This is making it harder to change flights when necessary.
London Farnborough (FAB)
With circa 25,000 flights per year, Farnborough is the second-largest airport for private flights in the London area.
Accessibility
Farnborough is located forty-two miles outside of London. The drive to the airport from the city takes at least 1.5 hours and can be as long as 2 hours. We highly recommend you use our Chauffeur Service to get a chauffeur who can effortlessly navigate the challenging traffic in and around the city.
For guests who do not want to lose any time, we recommend the use of a helicopter. The flight to Farnborough takes just ten minutes. We can arrange this flight for you at your request.
FBO
The FBO is also called Farnborough (+44 (0)1252 379002). When you have us charter your flight for you, we will take care of all communication with the FBO.
Pros
- Farnborough presents itself as the most sustainable airport in the whole of the United Kingdom.
- Farnborough is exclusively a private jet airport. That means there are no scheduled flights.
- Because of this, the airport offers passengers a ton of privacy.
- Amazing VIP lounges and terminal.
- Suitable for aircraft of all sizes.
Opening hours: 07.00 – 22.00 (Mon-Fri) and 08.00 – 20.00 (weekends).
Cons
Farnborough is an expensive airport.
London Biggin Hill (BQH)
Biggin Hill earns the #3 spot on the list of airports for private flights in the UK (and Europe!). Every year, 15,000 private jets arrive and depart here.
Accessibility
Biggin Hill is located “just” 16.5 miles from London. If the traffic is good, you can reach the airport in 1 hour and 15 minutes. However, if the traffic is bad – which it often is – the drive can take much longer. Furthermore, there are no major highways that lead towards the airport. You risk losing a ton of time because of the many traffic lights you’ll encounter along the way.
When you book our Chauffeur Service as well, your guest is guaranteed to get the fastest and most comfortable ride possible. Better yet: have us hire a helicopter for you. The flight to Biggin Hill from London takes just ten minutes.
Available FBO’s
There are two FBOs at Biggin Hill. Take a look at an overview >
The opening hours are 06.30 – 23.00 (Mon-Fri) and 08.00 – 22.00 (weekends).
We can advise you on what FBO to use. When you have us charter your flight for you, we will take care of all communication with the FBO.
Pros
- Out of all private terminals in the London area, this is the most cost-efficient one.
- Suitable for aircraft of all sizes.
Helicopter service
During the London rush hour, we highly recommend booking a helicopter flight to the private jet terminal of your choice. Traffic conditions can be so bad that it takes a car several hours to cover a distance of just a few kilometres.
